Sheila Brodbeck began her professional career in the legal field in 1973. Since February of 2010, Sheila has worked exclusively for injury attorney Michael K. Grife. Sheila served as Mr. Grife's paralegal at his former law partnership and left with him to help open The Grife Law Firm in Boca Raton. Mr. Grife and Sheila have formed a dynamic legal pairing that has brought the firm's clients a highly skilled and dedicated team. The synergy shared by these two comes only with many years working together towards one common goal: providing their clients with the highest possible quality legal services. A native of Palm Beach County, Sheila was raised in West Palm Beach. She has been married to her husband, Gregory, for 42 years and has lived in Wellington for 27 years. They have two daughters; Heather, who lives in New Bern, NC with her husband, Marine Staff Sergeant George Stone, and their five children; and, Mary who lives in Portland, OR. Sheila is an active member of her church, the "Friendly Parish" of St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, FL. She is a member of and a Cantor at the 4:30 p.m. choir, a member the Celebration Choir, and has served on many committees and taken part in many events at St. Rita over the years.
Liz Farley is a Certified Paralegal and an essential part of The Grife Law Firm. Born and raised in South Florida, Liz handles catastrophic car accident and premises liability cases from intake through the pre-suit phase. Often times, Liz finds our clients in their most vulnerable state immediately after suffering a traumatic accident. Liz's hard work and dedication help begin the process of restoring our clients to a position of strength. Her tireless work ethic lets our personal injury clients know that their interests are being well taken care of.
A true Floridian, Liz received her B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida and her Paralegal Certificate from Florida Atlantic University. She attended Pope John Paul II High School here in Boca Raton. When not at work, Liz enjoys spending time with her beloved dog Lady, indoor rock climbing, tennis, swimming, and pottery/sculpting.
Mindy Bayne is a litigation paralegal at The Grife Law Firm, where she puts her 25-years plus worth of legal experience to work to benefit our clients. Throughout her career, Mindy has shown the skill and dedication to achieve longevity at each firm she has worked for. Mindy began her legal career in 1992, when she worked as a paralegal for 11 years with an attorney practicing personal injury, family law, criminal law, and civil litigation. To further her career, Mindy joined a law firm specializing in personal injury and wrongful death, where she remained for 12 years. Mindy then brought her vast experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal to The Grife Law Firm in May, 2017. Her knowledge and expertise in working cases from the filing of a lawsuit through all phases of litigation has helped The Grife Law Firm provide a very high level of service to our clients.
Mindy has resided in beautiful South Florida since 1982, when she moved here from Philadelphia. She met her husband Philip in Boca Raton and they married in 1986. Mindy has two adult children, 2 cats and a dog. When not at work, Mindy enjoys all that South Florida has to offer, such as its beautiful beaches, festivals, local restaurants, concerts, all outdoor activities and just relaxing by her pool. Mindy also enjoys the occasional vacation to anywhere life takes her.
Stacey DeBellis joined The Grife Law Firm in 2018 bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in the personal injury field. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. DeBellis was a Bodily Injury claims adjuster for two of the largest insurance companies in the country where she investigated, evaluated and negotiated thousands of claims. It is that experience, combined with a passion for helping the injured, that allows Stacey to excel on a regular basis. Mrs. DeBellis works in the pre-litigation department, helping clients through the difficulties involved in being in a car accident or slip and fall. She thoroughly assists in ensuring that our clients get the very best results on all aspects of their cases.
Mrs. DeBellis is a native New Yorker who moved to Florida in 1990. She is married to Nick, and the two often spend weekends boating throughout South Florida, biking along the coast, traveling, and enjoying living in paradise. Their son recently graduated from University of Minnesota where he played football collegiately.
Mary Brodbeck joined the Grife Law Firm as the Office Manager in 2017. She brings to the Firm over 10 years' experience of supporting in legal and finance offices. Mary is committed to providing the best possible experience for all of our clients in furtherance of the firm's motto - For Everything You Deserve. She enjoys interacting with new people and providing outstanding customer service. Mary's warm voice is often the first voice our clients are welcomed with. She is an organized person whose strengths are problem-solving and streamlining processes for greater efficiency. Mary brings high-energy, professionalism and a spirit of service to her work with clients and the Firm.
Prior to joining the Grife Law Firm, Mary worked at as the Office Coordinator and Sales Manager for a process server in Portland, Oregon. In that role, she assisted law firms and individuals from all over the country in every aspect of process serving. Mary has also worked for Oxbow Corporation and Hollister, Inc. She looks forward to providing a professional and calming presence to all of our clients during the legal process.
Mary holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Saint Leo University (St. Leo, Florida) and has pursued post-baccalaureate law studies at Nova Southeastern University (Fort Lauderdale, Florida). She graduated from Cardinal Newman High School. A Florida native, she recently returned home from several years living in Portland, OR to be closer to family and the beach. In her free time, Mary enjoys yoga, volunteering, and spoiling her two senior cats.
